We remember the inauguration of our FIRST BRANCH ROTANA CAFÉ, Portobello, Dublin 2 . We were filled with nervousness and the desire to open our doors to the authentic Lebanese food we had to offer.
We remember when it all started with the illusion of a restaurant that offered a wide range of Lebanese gastronomic style, focused on new combinations, flavours and experiences.
At first it seemed impossible, but each step we took we did with the conviction to bring the dream closer to reality, always looking for ways to IMPROVE, CREATE & AMAZE.

Almost 13 years have passed since we opened doors for the first time in our restaurant in the vibrant Portobello area, in addition to remodeling and image changes, challenging us to get out of the comfort zone, training us more every day . It is true that it has not been easy, we have come to feel tired, but as a family (which has grown) we have supported each other , therefore, our north is to be able to transfer these emotions or values, to our #RotanaLovers through our dishes, services, and spaces.
Reminiscing, we see how much we have evolved, and if it is true that it all started with a family, it is incredible to see not only the number of people who have joined, but the QUALITY . I would like to say THANKS to the team for always giving their best, with great LOVE and PERSEVERANCE.
With the same love and passion as always (or maybe more) we just opened the doors of our second house! Perseverance and teamwork made it possible for Rotana City’s doors to open for the first time in the heart of Dublin City Centre in December 2020, quite a few months after of the date originally planned due to Covid-19.
